“GR MEOW” – a funny license plate for cat owners in Grand Rapids. Or maybe is it a novelty plate for passive/aggressive people who growl one minute and purr/meow the next? Either way, I think I’d better stay away from this car and driver because I’m allergic to cats! Another thanks to my mother-in-law for […]
Saw this personalized license plate, “MYBABYZ” in downtown Grand Rapids last week. Is the driver talking about their children (their babies) or do they mean that the car belongs to their spouse (baby)?
I saw this funny license plate, “WATTZIT” (What is it) at the local flea market this morning. I’m often wondering what people were thinking when they selected a personalized license plate. This one really has me curious – maybe the question “What is it?” means something special to them. What do you think?
My Canadian mother-in-law sent me this one, which made her think of me, her “Rich” son-in-law (Rich is my name). So is this driver’s name Rich, or is he/she talking about their net worth?
I just saw this novelty license plate, “TRAGEDY” on my way back to work after visiting a friend in the hospital. So, is the car owner into drama or film tragedies? Or have they lived through some tragedy that has shaped their life? What do you think?
This personal license plate says “ACCESS.” I wonder what kind of access the driver is talking about? Access to power? Money? God?
This “RESQDOG” (rescue dog) personal license plate is perfect for animal rescue advocates. From the looks of the license plate frame, this driver rescued a greyhound…or did the greyhound rescued the driver?
My wife saw this novelty license plate today in the parking lot of our health club. It says “1BORI.” The car owner happened to be right there, so my wife asked what the plate meant. The owner replied, “One girl. Well, one Portuguese girl.”
An “old” friend from church, Kevin, sent me this novelty license plate promoting the virtues of debt-free living and driving: “WV PD 4IT” (We’ve Paid For It). Dave Ramsey would be proud. Especially if the driver paid off the BMW and the home mortgage!
I saw this breast cancer support novelty plate, “FND CURE” (Find Cure) today about a mile from my house. Not only did the driver have a novelty plate, but also a custom breast cancer awareness license plate frame and pink ribbon bumper sticker.
